Rising Tensions: Drone Sightings Spark Security Concerns in Denmark

Heightened security concerns have gripped Denmark following a series of unexplained drone sightings over military locations and civilian airports. The Danish defence ministry confirmed multiple overnight drone observations over the weekend, intensifying fears about potential security breaches linked to suspected Russian aggression.

Amid these developments, NATO announced enhanced surveillance measures in the Baltic Sea region, with a special focus on Denmark. This includes deploying multi-domain intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance assets. Germany and Sweden have also pledged military support, offering anti-drone capabilities to bolster Denmark's efforts in countering the menace.
