Diplomatic Tensions Flare: U.S. Consul General Warned by China

Chinese diplomat Cui Jianchun expressed concerns over Eadeh's activities since her appointment, urging adherence to non-interference principles and cautioning against partnerships with anti-China forces. Cui outlined the 'Four Don'ts' to guide diplomatic conduct in Hong Kong.

This exchange occurs against the backdrop of past tensions involving Eadeh and comes at a critical time for U.S.-China relations, as trade negotiations continue and a meeting between Trump and Xi Jinping approaches. A request for comment from the Chinese Foreign Ministry went unanswered.
