In a distressing incident in Jharkhand's Palamu district, two teenage cousins were allegedly subjected to sexual assault by six individuals, according to police reports on Monday. The attack reportedly occurred on October 2.
The victims were returning from a Dussehra fair to their residence in the Naudiha area when the unfortunate event transpired. Authorities were notified of the incident by the victims' parents on Monday.
An FIR has been lodged at the Mahila police station, and all suspects have been identified. Chattarpur Sub-divisional Police Officer Awadh Kumar Yadav confirmed that efforts are currently underway to apprehend the accused individuals.
