In a significant breakthrough, Delhi Police announced the arrest of Harsh Pal Singh, an implicated operative in a transnational arms trafficking racket on Wednesday. The scheme reportedly has connections with Pakistan-based handlers.

According to officials, Singh, also known as Rubal, 31, is closely associated with the incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his aide Rohit Godara. Police recovered a foreign-made pistol with five live cartridges from Singh, who allegedly acted as a receiver of illegal arms.

The module, reportedly backed by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence, involved several accused, with officers detailing recoveries of 24 foreign-made weapons and 216 cartridges. Singh, originally from Ghaziabad, is linked to betting networks and extortion schemes targeting businessmen. Ongoing investigations aim to trace the racket's members and financial transactions.
