China's Foreign Minister has stressed the importance of reinitiating negotiations between the U.S. and Iran, pointing to the significant effects of their ongoing conflict on global energy security and the Strait of Hormuz shipping lanes.

During discussions in Beijing with Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, Wang Yi highlighted the critical need for dialogues that could reduce geopolitical tensions.

Wang emphasized China's commitment to working closely with Italy, describing both nations as ancient civilizations linked by a shared desire for peace, according to a report from Wang's Ministry.
