Saptagiri Ulaka, a senior Congress leader, has raised questions about the BJP government's delay in notifying the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, a bill ensuring 33% reservation for women in Parliament.
During a press conference, the Koraput MP labeled the government's actions as insincere towards women's empowerment, citing Congress's past commitment to elevating women.
