Gurugram Police Crackdown: Demolishing Gangster-Linked Encroachments

Gurugram Police, in a coordinated effort with the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) and the Department of Town and Country Planning (DTP), executed a targeted operation to dismantle encroachments on government land near Pataudi's fire station on Tuesday. The structures were reportedly raised by two associates of imprisoned gangster Kaushal Chaudhary, identified as Narendra alias Monu and Pradeep alias Parle from Janaula village.

The illegal expansions had blocked a key road, prompting the authorities to take decisive action. A significant police presence, alongside crime branch officials from Sector 31 and administrative personnel, ensured the removal of these structures under stringent supervision. The Gurugram police spokesperson highlighted the criminal backgrounds of Narendra and Pradeep, with counts ranging from robbery to attempted murder.

This operation forms part of a broader strategy to eliminate the financial bases of criminal entities across Gurugram. The spokesperson reaffirmed their commitment to continuing these intelligence-driven operations to secure a crime-free city. Prior efforts included the demolition of another illegal property tied to the gangster in Naharpur Rupa village.
