EU and UK Stand United in Solidarity on Pahalgam Attack Anniversary

The European Union and the United Kingdom have issued statements expressing their solidarity with the people of India on the anniversary of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, which took 26 lives. The EU, representing its 27 member states, reiterated its unwavering condemnation of terrorism in all forms.

The British High Commission in New Delhi also paid tribute to the victims, reaffirming the UK's commitment to fighting terrorism and maintaining global peace and security. The attack, carried out by the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba group, targeted mostly tourists in the scenic region of Jammu and Kashmir.

Following the tragic event, India launched Operation Sindoor, a military offensive aimed at dismantling terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir region. This operation underscored India's resolve to counteract terrorism and safeguard its citizens.
