Authorities in Amethi, India, are delving into allegations made by a young woman accusing her partner of deception under the pretense of marriage. Official sources confirmed the inquiry on Wednesday following her complaint.
The complainant, originating from Bahraich district and residing in Delhi, claims that Mohit Vishwakarma duped her into a romantic relationship by promising marriage. Allegedly, under this guise, he engaged in physical relations leading to unwanted pregnancies which he coerced her to terminate using medication.
According to filed reports, Vishwakarma is purportedly preparing to marry another woman. Additional Superintendent of Police, Gyanendra Kumar Singh, confirmed receiving the allegations on April 21. Authorities are undertaking thorough investigations before initiating legal proceedings.
