Cook's False Accusation Sparks Legal Repercussions

A Nepalese woman working as a cook through a mobile app has been charged with falsely accusing a client of rape, police officials announced on Thursday.

Authorities received a distress call on April 20 about an alleged rape incident at a home in Sector 47. A police unit responded immediately to tackle the reportedly grave situation.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that the woman falsely claimed the attack during an argument with the client, intending to intimidate him. She now faces legal action for misleading the police and wasting emergency resources.
