Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi urged government employees to maintain integrity and gender sensitivity during a recruitment event at Kalinga Stadium. Addressing 4,623 newly recruited individuals, Majhi emphasized respectful conduct with women and strict adherence to the state's zero-tolerance policy on corruption.
Majhi articulated the role of government employees as vital conduits between the administration and the public, encouraging them to address grievances effectively. Personal opinions, he cautioned, should not impede the implementation of government policies, a cornerstone for maintaining public trust.
Highlighting employment achievements, Majhi reported that the government facilitated 1,36,082 jobs in 22 months. He also stressed punctuality, defining it as timely service delivery, crucial for public satisfaction. Alongside Majhi, Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram and other state ministers spoke at the event.
