Petitioners, seeking justice, allege that the accused are using intimidation tactics to pressure witnesses to withdraw from the case. Justice Girish Kathpalia ordered increased police support, instructing the local station house officer to maintain direct contact with the distressed family.
Measures including police pickets and surveillance cameras have been introduced near the petitioners' residence, bolstering security. The police are scrutinizing video evidence and have removed over 250 incendiary social media posts to uphold order, with further inquiries being conducted by senior officers.
