In a disturbing incident in Nadapuram, police have intensified investigations following the illegal dumping of septic waste into the drinking water well of RMP leader T P Manojan's residence.
Trespassers allegedly breached the compound between Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Manojan, who shares the well with his brothers, discovered the contamination when septic waste was found floating on the surface during a routine water pump.
Authorities have filed a case citing multiple legal provisions, including those related to the spread of infectious diseases and criminal trespass. CCTV footage from the vicinity is being scrutinized to identify suspects, while local RMP activists call for stringent action against the perpetrators.
