The bench, led by Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi, pointed to alarming claims of three hospitals denying treatment to the victim. This prompted the top court to demand an explanation and urgent action from law enforcement. An FIR has been filed, and the main suspect, the victim's husband, has already been apprehended.
The Court has also expressed serious concern over the disappearance of the victim's two children, reportedly taken by her in-laws. Directions have been issued to locate them swiftly. Police revealed the suspect, Manoj Kumar, confessed, citing familial conflicts as the motive behind his brutal actions.
