A triple murder case at a birthday party in Bulandshahr took a dramatic turn when police engaged in an encounter with one of the accused. The incident stemmed from an altercation over cake smearing that led to the deaths of three family members: Amardeep, Manish, and Akash.
Police investigations revealed that Mayank, one of the accused, had hidden an illegal firearm. When officers attempted to recover the weapon, Mayank allegedly tried to escape custody, opening fire on the police. In the ensuing exchange, Mayank was shot in the leg and apprehended.
Authorities recovered a .315 bore country-made pistol and an empty cartridge from the suspect. The accused is now in custody and receiving medical treatment, according to officials.
