Four killed in separate road accidents in Mainpuri and Muzaffarnagar

Police rushed to the scene upon receiving information and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination, Saha added. In a separate incident in Muzaffarnagar's Charthawal town on Tuesday night, a 30-year-old woman, Imrana, was killed after being hit by a speeding car on Rajbaha Road, police said. Another woman sustained injuries in the incident. Circle Officer Ravishankar said the victims were walking along the roadside when the car struck them, throwing Imrana into a canal. She was taken to a hospital where she was declared dead. The body has been sent for post-mortem, police said. Following the incident, angry villagers staged a protest and demanded strict action against the accused driver, who fled the spot, leaving behind the vehicle.
