Delhi Police Nabs Proclaimed Offender in Shocking Assault Case

The Delhi Police successfully apprehended Gulzar, a proclaimed offender linked to a gang that sexually assaulted a boy at gunpoint in the Palam area. Officials arrested the accused on April 29, following a tip-off that led to his capture.

The horrifying incident dates back to October 5, 2024, when Gulzar and three others, identified as Ajay, Neeraj, and Kamal, allegedly assaulted the victim. During the assault, Gulzar threatened the boy with a gun, inflicting injuries that rendered him unconscious.

Three suspects were apprehended earlier, while Gulzar continued to evade capture. His arrest came after sustained surveillance and a carefully planned operation. During interrogation, Gulzar admitted his guilt and detailed his efforts to avoid arrest by frequently moving locations.
