In a statement, Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi emphasized the regrettable shift of educational institutions into platforms for majoritarian narratives. The criticism particularly pointed at Jamia Millia, known for its rich traditions and strong historical values, now caught in a wave of controversy.
The Pakistani official urged the international community to take notice of these developments, stressing that India should honor its commitments to curb hate speech and protect minority rights, especially those of Indian Muslims.
