Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah addressed the potential rainfall deficit, urging the state's officials to prioritize maintaining an uninterrupted supply of drinking water. During a strategic meeting at Vidhana Soudha, he highlighted the importance of effective governance and administrative efficiency to uphold public trust.
In a forceful message, Siddaramaiah tasked district secretaries with closely monitoring water conditions in their areas, underlining their accountability in resolving regional issues. He noted the crucial role of secretaries in delivering on budget promises while urging them to communicate candidly with authorities, even when uncomfortable.
The Chief Minister also stressed the need for prompt resolution of public complaints and full utilization of government grants. Launching the Karnataka Progress Portal, Siddaramaiah pushed for robust inter-departmental coordination and strategic implementation, aiming for a more dynamic and reliable government service delivery system.
