Tragedy in the Woods: Hunting Trip Turns Fatal in Solan

A tragic incident unfolded in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district during a hunting trip that resulted in a fatality. According to police accounts, an accidental gunshot claimed the life of Laxmikant.
The unfortunate event transpired on April 29, when Laxmikant and Ranjeet Singh ventured into a nearby forest for hunting. Ranjeet reportedly slipped, leading to an unintentional firing from his gun, fatally injuring Laxmikant.
Laxmikant's son, Rahul, was informed and quickly transported his father to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Authorities have taken Ranjeet into custody and continue their investigation to discern further details.
