In a dramatic turn of events, law enforcement officers in Kerala's Dharmadam Assembly constituency uncovered a stockpile of explosive materials, including crude country-made bombs, just a day before the crucial vote count.
The discovery followed a tip-off about illegal activities mirroring firecracker production. Authorities acted swiftly, unearthing five makeshift bombs and over three kilograms of explosive powder during a search in Thannada.
A case has been registered against local resident Nanu. The police have noted a concerning increase in unlicensed firecracker manufacturing amid existing restrictions on legal vendors.
