Explosive Celebrations: A Firecracker Mishap in Sultanpur
A firecracker explosion during a birth celebration in Sultanpur district injured four children. Police raided a nearby market and seized illegal explosives from a trader. While two children were hospitalized, two others were treated and released. Legal action against the trader is ongoing.

In Sultanpur district, a celebration over a child's birth took a tragic turn when a firecracker accidentally exploded, injuring four children. The incident, which took place in Narayanpur village, resulted in rapid police action.
According to authorities, the firecracker, thrown on gravel, exploded violently, causing debris to injure the nearby children. Among the injured, two—Raghavendra Singh and Mohammad Subhan—were sent to a government medical college for further treatment.
Following the incident, police, under the direction of SP Charu Nigam, raided a trader's premises in Pratapganj market, confiscating a significant amount of illegal explosive material. Legal proceedings are being initiated, officials confirmed.
