A 22-year-old man from Nallasopara has become the latest victim of escalating violence as he succumbed to injuries sustained in a knife attack. The attack occurred on April 5, and after battling for his life, he died in a Mumbai hospital.
Police initially filed an 'attempt to murder' case, which has since been upgraded to murder following the victim's demise. An investigation is underway, although no arrests have been made so far, according to local authorities.
The victim, identified as Sadaf Siddiqui, was attacked along with his family members over an ongoing dispute with another group. Expressing their grief and seeking justice, Siddiqui's family marched to the Pelhar police station, carrying his body and demanding action against the attackers.
