Dazzling Heist at the Minister's Manor: Arrests Made

In a significant breakthrough, police have arrested two individuals implicated in a high-profile theft case involving gold ornaments worth Rs 1.13 crore. The items were stolen from the residence of Karnataka Housing Minister B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan.
The theft came to light on April 15 when a complaint was lodged at the Shivajinagar Police Station. The prime suspect, a relative known to the minister's family, was taken into custody after investigations led police to consider him as a suspect. The suspect confessed to the crime during interrogation, officials disclosed.
As the investigation unfolded, police were able to trace 759 grams of the stolen jewellery to a shop in Mathikere. The items are valued at Rs 1.13 crore. Both individuals have since been placed in judicial custody, authorities confirmed.
