Amalraj, a 1996-batch IPS officer who was on compulsory wait, has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai.
Modak has been transferred and posted as Additional Director General of Police, Crime Branch-CID, according to an order issued by Home Secretary K Manivasan.
