In a significant event on Tuesday, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu highlighted the importance of merit-based recruitment, integrity, and transparency in public service. Addressing newly appointed candidates at a function, he urged them to perform their duties with sincerity and compassion.
At the event, which was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Nabam Rebia, minister Balo Raja, and Chief Secretary Manish Kumar Gupta, appointment orders were issued to successful candidates of the Non-Ministerial Technical Examination conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB).
Khandu emphasized the transformation brought by the establishment of APSSB in 2017-18, ensuring government jobs are awarded on merit. He encouraged new recruits to consider competitive examinations for higher opportunities while assuring continuous efforts to improve working conditions within government services.
