US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has criticized Iran's efforts to obstruct the critical shipping passage, claiming it jeopardizes the global economy. The resolution, under Chapter 7 of the UN Charter, has the potential for military enforcement if Iran remains non-compliant, signaling the international community's serious stance on the issue.
