The Chief Minister of Telangana, A Revanth Reddy, has ordered a robust investigation into the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) case lodged against Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar's son. The directive comes amid serious allegations of sexual misconduct involving a minor.
In light of the accusations, Reddy instructed the Director General of Police, C V Anand, to form special investigative teams to scrutinize the case. The CM expressed dissatisfaction with the delay in action, attributing it to the police's engagement with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit.
Amid these proceedings, the accused, Bhageerath, refuted claims of harassment, alleging instead that the family of the complainant attempted extortion. This complex situation now demands a cohesive response as authorities strive to ascertain the truth and ensure justice.
