Breakthrough in Chandranath Rath Murder Case: Three Arrested from UP and Bihar
Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of Chandranath Rath in West Bengal. The suspects were detained from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar following leads from a digital transaction. The West Bengal Police made significant progress in the high-profile murder case of Chandranath Rath, an aide to Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, with the arrest of three suspects from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. This development marks a major breakthrough in the investigation.
The arrests followed crucial leads obtained from a UPI transaction at a toll plaza, which helped investigators identify one of the suspects. The Special Investigation Team (SIT), dedicated to solving the case, promptly detained these individuals, bringing them to West Bengal for further actions.
Charged with murder and other offenses, the suspects are now in police custody. Meanwhile, the SIT continues its efforts to apprehend additional accomplices involved in the meticulously planned killing of Rath.
