In a disturbing revelation, the National Commission for Women (NCW) has identified 'pervasive sexual harassment' and 'systemic bullying' at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Nashik. According to the NCW's report, there was 'zero compliance' with the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act within the organization.
The report was prepared after serious allegations were brought to light by several female employees. Headed by NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar, the fact-finding committee interacted with victims and officials, uncovering a 'deeply toxic workplace' environment influenced by discriminatory and religiously charged conduct against certain communities.
