An FIR has been filed by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board against an individual using the handle @rakesh_w07 on X for reportedly spreading false claims regarding the UP Police Sub-Inspector Direct Recruitment-2025 examination results.
The accused, advocate R K Rajput from Moradabad, defends his actions, stating that his allegations were rooted in student welfare and that he possesses evidence to back his claims. Despite this, the Board has stressed that the allegations are baseless.
The FIR, lodged under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the IT Act, underscores the Board's warning against spreading unfounded information and reiterates their call for candidates to provide any verifiable evidence. Following the complaint, Rajput released a YouTube video criticizing the Board's lack of transparency.
