In a significant operation, Prabhdeep Singh, a notorious fugitive linked to a narcotics racket, has been extradited from Azerbaijan to India. This mission was executed by the CBI, with vital collaborations from the Ministries of Home Affairs, External Affairs, and the Delhi Police.
Singh, slapped with an Interpol Red Notice, was wanted for organizing a major narcotics operation uncovered by Delhi's Special Cell Police. The case, featuring a substantial narcotic seizure and multiple arrests, placed Singh as the primary orchestrator.
His detention and subsequent extradition illustrate coordinated global efforts to combat drug trafficking, as an escort team from Delhi Police brought him back to Indian soil on Wednesday.
