International Arbitrator's House Robbed: Nepali Gang's Daring Heist

An elderly couple, including an international arbitrator and his pathologist wife, were victimized by a Nepali gang in a daring robbery at their home. Police reported that the couple was restrained, and their valuable items, including gold and silver, were stolen.

The heist occurred on May 11, orchestrated under the guise of a birthday celebration. The gang administered a sedative to the couple before fleeing with loot worth Rs 16.5 lakh. The police are in pursuit of the suspects, likely to have left Telangana.

This robbery follows closely on the heels of another crime involving a Nepali gang and the murder of a retired IPS officer's wife, Tanuja, highlighting concerns over domestic help recruitment practices.
