An FIR has been registered against a madrasa preacher in Tumakuru district after allegations of abuse and forced labor led to 24 children fleeing the institution. Authorities revealed the incident on Wednesday, identifying the accused as Moulali, aged 44.

The alarming situation came to light when Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel discovered the children at Bengaluru's Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station. The children, aged between 8 and 17 years, were attempting to return to their homes in Bihar.

Upon questioning, the children detailed their ordeal of physical abuse and forced labor within the madrasa, alongside restricted communication with their families. Currently under the care of the Child Welfare Committee, the case is being investigated extensively after its transfer to the Tumakuru Rural Police Station.
