In a significant policy shift, the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has officially removed the 'opting out' and 'consent' options previously available to candidates in its recruitment procedures.
This decision, effective from Wednesday, is a part of MPSC's ongoing efforts to streamline and enhance the recruitment process.
While waiting lists will persist for single-cadre positions, they will no longer be maintained for multiple-cadre recruitments. The shift underscores the commission's commitment to improving the efficiency of candidate selection and reducing administrative complications.
