Luxury Heist: Extravagant Dreams Fuel Family Betrayal
Areeba, daughter of a brass trader, orchestrated a robbery at her home with her lover and his gang, stealing Rs 1.20 crore to fund a lavish lifestyle. The police have arrested five involved, recovered part of the loot, and are investigating the remainder of the stolen money.

A shocking incident unfolded in the Akbar Compound area where the daughter of a brass trader reportedly planned a robbery at her own home. The mastermind, identified as Areeba, collaborated with her lover and three associates to execute the heist.
The group made off with Rs 1.20 crore from the premises, holding the family hostage. Law enforcement swiftly apprehended Areeba, her lover Arshad Warsi, and three others involved in the crime.
Senior Superintendent of Police Satpal Antil confirmed the seizure of Rs 47.24 lakh, illegal firearms, and vehicles related to the robbery. The motive was to achieve wealth for a luxurious lifestyle, police said, as further inquiries aim to recover the remaining missing funds.
