Tragic Accident Claims Laborer's Life
A 45-year-old laborer, Gnawang Sherpa, working with the GREF, was fatally crushed under a machine in Sikkim's Pakyong district. The incident occurred during a machine-moving operation in Zuluk. Sherpa was taken to a military hospital but was declared dead on arrival. A case under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was filed.

A grievous accident occurred in Sikkim's Pakyong district, leading to the death of a 45-year-old laborer.
Gnawang Sherpa, tragically lost his life when a compressor machine, being maneuvered by him and other workers, slipped, crushing him instantly. The incident took place in Zuluk.
Sherpa was rushed to the Military Hospital; however, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Authorities have registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and further investigations are ongoing.
