Srinagar's police force made significant strides in their ongoing battle against drug trafficking, as they legally attached properties valued at 5.8 crore linked to three suspected drug dealers.
The crackdown forms a critical part of the 'Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan' campaign, spearheaded by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha since April 11, to target the financial underpinnings of narcotics operations.
Among the seized assets are residential properties and vehicles belonging to suspects Nazir Ahmad Mir, Gulzar Ahmad Mir, and Zahid Manzoor Rather, with officials confirming these were acquired through illicit drug trade proceeds.
