Tamil Nadu's political landscape is undergoing significant changes as Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay takes charge. The new administration is actively assessing the current state of governmental affairs, with a commitment to releasing a comprehensive White Paper on fiscal health.
Minister C T Nirmal Kumar, one of the nine newly appointed ministers, confirmed these plans. However, the Tamil Nadu government, under Vijay's leadership, has not yet assigned specific portfolios to its ministers. The CM has been vocal about the financial challenges inherited from the previous DMK government, citing a staggering Rs 10 lakh crore debt.
Efforts are underway to tackle issues like drug trafficking and illegal activities. The CM intends to bring transparency and fulfill electoral promises, including a financial assistance scheme for women. While the Chief Minister has been less visible in the media, the government assures timely communication through official channels.
