Crackdown on Cross-Border Offenders: Property Seizure in Baramulla
Police have attached a property in Baramulla owned by Nadihal Rafiabad-resident Rasid-ud-Din Qureshi, a proclaimed offender linked to Hizbul Mujahideen and currently operating from Pakistan. Qureshi was charged under the E&IMCO Act for illegally crossing into Pakistan-occupied Kashmir for arms training.

In Baramulla district, a property belonging to a Hizbul Mujahideen-linked proclaimed offender, currently residing in Pakistan, was seized on Saturday, police announced.
The offender, Rasid-ud-Din Qureshi, originally from Nadihal Rafiabad, was booked under the Egress and Internal Movement (Control) Ordinance of 2005 by the Panzalla Police Station.
Qureshi, accused of illicitly crossing into Pakistan-occupied Kashmir for weapons training, has been operating from Pakistan. The attached property is a two-kanal land plot in Lashdaej Nadihal, marking the third such police action in Sopore recently.
