In a surprising incident, four African women managed to escape from a shelter home in Bengaluru by breaking through a window. The escape occurred at the 'Home of Hope' shelter, operated by the New Ark Mission of India.

The women were part of a group of foreign nationals residing in the shelter under orders from the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO). The manager of the shelter, Srinivas N, filed a police complaint after efforts to locate the women proved fruitless.

Police have since registered a case under relevant sections of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, as they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the escape.
