In a significant upgrade for Chhattisgarh's emergency services, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday flagged off 400 new vehicles for the 'CG Dial 112' service. This initiative aims to provide integrated emergency assistance across the state, enhancing response capabilities significantly.
Shah also inaugurated 33 mobile forensic science laboratories, ensuring one is available for each district. These mobile units are fully equipped with collection kits for blood samples, digital evidence, and electronic gadgets, marking a substantial advancement in crime scene investigation capabilities.
The 'CG Dial 112' service, which brings together police assistance, fire services, medical emergencies, and more under one platform, is being expanded to cover all districts in the state. Officials highlighted the technology-driven nature of the new system, designed to improve overall public safety.
