The European Commission is poised to renew its steel safeguards measures before they expire on July 1. This renewal will encompass all of the European Union's partners, Switzerland included, according to a spokesperson on Monday.
Paula Pinho, during a briefing, stated, "The objective is to have a concrete implementing act which will specify quotas by July 1."
According to Pinho, the measures are designed to apply across EU partners, with partial exemptions only available to European Economic Area countries.
