On Monday, Pakistan condemned in strong terms the drone attack on the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant in the United Arab Emirates. The strike, which occurred on Sunday, sparked a fire outside the plant's inner perimeter in Abu Dhabi. Responsibility for the assault remains unclaimed.
The Pakistani Foreign Office expressed solidarity with the UAE, labeling the attack a severe breach of international laws, including humanitarian protocols, the United Nations Charter, and nuclear safety principles dictated by the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Pakistan urged all parties to exercise restraint, adhere to international laws, and engage in diplomatic dialogue to prevent escalation and promote peace and stability in the region.
