Tarak called for establishing a food testing laboratory to ensure food quality for government schemes, noting that food security must extend beyond mere availability. The meeting reviewed the functionality of local FCI godowns and addressed issues with electronic point of sale machines.
Officials were directed to improve outreach activities to inform eligible households of their entitlements, stressing that transparency and accountability measures should not impede beneficiaries.
