Bodies of young man and woman found hanging from tree in UP's Banda

Bodies of a young man and woman were found hanging from a tree in Adhav village here on Wednesday, police said.

Additional Superintendent of Police Shivraj said they received information from villagers about the incident that occured under the Marka police station area.

The deceased were identified as Subhash Paswan (20) and Roshni Yadav (19).

According to police, the woman got married on May 7 in a village at Bisanda and had returned to her parental home for the first time on May 16.

The officer said both had gone missing from their respective homes on Tuesday evening, and their bodies were found hanging on the next morning.

He added that the bodies have been sent for a post-mortem examination, and an investigation has been initiated.

Shivraj said no suicide note was received from the spot.
