The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has officially taken over the probing of Twisha Sharma's tragic death, previously handled by the Bhopal police, officials reported on Monday.
A specialized team from the Special Crime unit has been dispatched to Bhopal, where they met with local officials and obtained crucial documents and evidence to advance the investigation.
The Supreme Court of India, led by Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi, has mandated a fair and independent investigation into the actress's death, emphasizing the necessity for all involved parties to communicate directly with the investigative bodies.
