In a disturbing incident in Gurugram, two men allegedly attacked another man because of his regional Hindi accent, according to police reports. The victim, Aditya Raj Pandey, originally from Bihar, suffered severe injuries and is currently hospitalized.
The vicious assault occurred on the morning of May 21, when Pandey was at a friend's place. The accused, Uday and Nikhil Sansanwal, allegedly mocked his accent and then physically attacked him when he protested, leaving him bleeding heavily.
Authorities have registered a case against the perpetrators, and efforts are ongoing to arrest them. This assault has intensified discussions on regional discrimination, with many calling for swift justice.
