A young pregnant woman tragically passed away in northeast Delhi's Mustafabad after reportedly falling from a four-story building. Her family has accused her husband and in-laws of subjecting her to dowry-related harassment, intensifying scrutiny over the circumstances leading to her death.

The 25-year-old, who had married by choice three months prior, allegedly faced demands for gold and cash soon after her marriage. According to her sister, recent days were filled with conflict, drawing the intervention of family members in hopes of resolving the discord.

Authorities revealed they have initiated an inquiry into the incident, collecting statements from the family to understand the sequence of events better. The deceased's mother lamented her daughter's experiences of torture and said she feared for her safety, highlighting a desperate need for justice. Police assure that appropriate actions will be taken based on their findings.
