In a significant legal verdict, a local court has handed life imprisonment sentences to four individuals for the 2017 murder of a fruit vendor named Shanu. The decision was announced by Judge Shivanand at the Fast Track Court-I.

Those convicted were identified as Babloo, Hasrat, Hamid, and Shama, with each facing an additional fine of Rs 10,000. This sentence follows a complaint by Rahisa, Shanu's mother, who detailed how her son was tragically shot while selling fruit near a bridge on April 1, 2017. Rahisa had previously mentioned threats to Shanu's life.
